New iPod Nano to Have a 1.3 Megapixel Camera. A new version of the little iPod Nano could be launched in autumn this year but until then we first speculated about the possible functions of the device.
We are talking about the possible implementation of a 1.3 megapixel camera on the back of it as you see in the picture above. Camera would be positioned where it is now found the metal clip that allows you to catch the iPod on your clothing or other accessories. It’s hard to believe that Apple will implement a camera on the iPod Nano and that metal clip that helps you to catch your device on you jeans will be dropped since it shows as an accessory device that can be used anywhere but anything is possible.
Apple.pro says that the camera should be designed and used only for videos, but we imagine in the world of jailbreak hackers will not take more than a few days to make a hack that might use this camera for pictures.
This news tends to confirm some rumors that have circulated in the past, this is just a case of the iPod Nano. By removing the metal clip I think that iPod Nano lost an important matter that made it famous, namely: its portability.
In the meantime the implementation of that camera does not seem something that could be made by Apple but we are talking about a demo unit whose characteristics could be modified after the launch. iPod Nano 6G was not a device that had a big success even though Apple refreshes the music line annually.
